Resumo das funções

The Sales Specialist has operating responsibility, and is accountable to the Sales Manager– Wire Harness/OEM/OES for operating the territory within the scope assigned by his/her Manager. He/She is responsible for gaining specification approvals and soliciting orders for assigned products, for achieving approved sales objectives, for customer relations, for expense control and for contributing specialized knowledge to marketing planning.


  • Execute selling and policy decisions so as to achieve planned wire harness team sales objectives
  • Execute sales strategy and sell the assigned products so effectively that the Company’s market position is increased in the territory. Apply superior, specialized knowledge and skill to this selling task
  • Execute the selling phase of Company marketing programs as assigned. Develop and execute end-user selling programs that are effective in building market share
  • Responsible to coordinate and execute sales strategies at a key account level that are aligned with the Key Account Manager – Wire Harness. Coordinate dissemination of international information (re: Application or general product information to accounts)
  • Recommend marketing programs and policies based on specialized knowledge of work needed to achieve Company objectives
  • Report promptly, in accordance with established procedures, the results of sales calls, customer needs, competitive activity, estimates of available business, sales forecasts, recommendations and any other items significant to the territory and the Company
  • Plan and organize time, routing and methods so that specialized selling skill is operating against sales objectives with maximum effectiveness, including maintenance of a satisfactory call rate frequency and control of expenses
  • Develop prospects for new business by giving adequate sales coverage to the defined market, promptly report new prospects and follow up agreed upon customer prospects and application opportunities
  • Function effectively in a team sales environment supporting others projects and actively seeking support of your own projects
  • Report all sales activities, opportunities and information via company CRM system


  • Four-year College or equal job experience
  • Strong understanding of selling concepts and automotive market gained either via experience or education
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license
  • Physical ability to drive for lengthy periods and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must also be available for air travel, as necessary
  • Skilled and proficient in use of computers to include but not limited to Microsoft products-Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint-as well as ability to use Customer Relationship Management software programs
  • Must be available for air/auto travel 50% of the time (or more as needed)
  • Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is required
